Dr. D. B. Layton is a board-certified Dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. She specializes in the highly precise Mohs Micrographic Surgery and is particularly expert in complex post-Mohs reconstruction, ensuring that patients achieve the most functional and aesthetically pleasing results following skin cancer removal.
Dr. Layton is widely recognized for her personable, gentle, and kind approach. After earning her Medical Degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Layton completed an Internal Medicine Internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. She traveled to New York for her Dermatology Residency at New York Medical College and Metropolitan Hospital, where her training focused heavily on Mohs surgery and aesthetics. To further her expertise, she completed a Dermatopathology Fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a specialized fellowship in Photodynamic Therapy and Lasers at the prestigious Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Layton enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving, and playing tennis, but she finds her greatest joy in spending time with her family.
