Ross Stutman, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in cosmetic, oculoplastic (reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the eyes), and general reconstructive plastic surgery. In addition to his expertise in cosmetic surgery, over the years Dr Stutman has performed thousands of surgical wound closures following skin cancer removals.
Originally a native of Los Angeles, Dr. Stutman completed his undergraduate studies cum laude at the University of Arizona. He then moved to Chicago, where he received his Medical Doctorate (MD) from Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine.
After completing all required training in Plastic Surgery, he elected to continue his education by completing an Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Mark Codner in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Stutman is one of only a few Plastic Surgeons in the United States to complete this specialized training.
Dr. Stutman has been practicing in Arizona well over a decade where he brings his unique surgical skills to his patients. Dr. Stutman has given presentations at several national medical society conferences, authored numerous medical journal articles, actively participated in plastic surgery research, and has received numerous awards for his research and patient care. He currently serves as a peer reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (Journal of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Journal of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and European Association of Societies of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery). Dr. Stutman is now seeing patients at all locations in Phoenix, Sun City West, and Payson.
